Currently the average listing price for Clarksville Tennessee is $177,000. This is down about 1% over last month. The median sales price is down about 9% over last year at this time topping out at $123,000. Of the nearly 2400 homes for sale only 240 are foreclosures or bank owned which shows a remarkable change in the real estate market and housing market in our area. The average list price has increased 3.8% year-over-year to $82 per square foot. The median list price is $168,000 with a median days on the market of 85. This is actually a little bit longer than it was last her at this time at 75. The median house size is currently 1,850.
Summer in Clarksville
Summer is quickly approaching as are lots of summer activities, festivals, and events happening in downtown Clarksville. Don’t miss the Clarksville downtown market every Saturday starting at 8 AM. Over 60 vendors line the parking lot of US Bank and City Hall to offer their local produce, bakery items, artisan fair, flowers, meats and cheeses. This is also a great time to get some exposure to local artists and musicians.
Movies in the Park is also a great family activity. Join us as we enjoy the eighth annual movies in the Park series that runs through October 10. Admission is free at all movies begin at dusk. Movies are typically at heritage Park or liberty Park in downtown.
The Dunbar Cave State Park has programs June 13 through the 15th to explore caves and the surrounding 110 acres of scenic and natural history.
